About Claire

I currently care for a 2-year-old boy from my Brighton home - and would love to add another. I have three school-aged children of my own. I do not simply babysit, I focus my energy on nurturing healthy social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth - with fun. We do age-appropriate mini lessons. The lessons focus on the fundamentals and adapt to the child. We read everyday, and regularly attend story times to socialize. Because a child's true work is play, I have a wide range of activities, crafts, and fun games for us to play. I promote independent play and take time to rest. We go outside everyday to visit playgrounds, explore nature, and adventure. Our days are always different depending on the child's mood, interest, and energy level. We move at the child's speed and always adjust/adapt to the children's needs. I try to create a warm and nurturing environment where learning happens while having fun. It is truly a joy to watch them grow, learn, and laugh.
