About Claire

I started working with kids at 13 years old. I had the privilege of babysitting three children for a close family friend/neighbor for about 2 years. Since 18 years old, I have babysat my nephews for almost 5 years now. At 21, I began working as a teacher's classroom assistant at an AMI-Certified Montessori school. I worked there for a year before I moved to Edwardsville, IL. In my spare time, I love going for walks, hiking, swimming, fishing, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends! I am extremely dedicated and passionate about childcare and learning. I believe in balanced schedules with appropriate times for rest, play, and learning! I enjoy playing games, spending time outdoors, and engaging with kids of all ages. I am reliable, punctual, positive, and fun-loving!
