About Claire

I am an elementary school teacher who has a background in working with kids between 2 and 16 years of age and experience teaching kids between 4 and 11 years of age. I JUST moved to Bend from Santa Cruz, where I was teaching second grade at Boulder Creek Elementary in the Santa Cruz mountains from 21-24. Prior to that, I was a private pod teacher to five 4th grade boys for a year. This position had elements of both teaching and nannying, extending beyond the normal school day hours into after school activities and projects. Before entering the teaching profession, I held many nanny jobs in Southern CA. My responsibilities included engaging the kids in fun activities, transporting kids to and from school/appointments/ practices/etc., serving meals, and helping in nighttime routines. Having moved to Bend mid-school year, I am seeking a job outside the district setting until the 25-26 school year.
