Hi! I'm Claira and moving back to the central coast where I grew up. I've been helping take care of kids for the majority of my life, starting with my siblings and neighborhood kids. Since then I've gone on to work with kids in private caretaking, school settings and summer camps. I've also worked with people of all ages with a wide variety of developmental and physical disabilities for roughly eight years now. I've spent the past five years working at a summer camp for people with disabilities, both as a counselor and as a programming and activity coordinator. I've spent the last 2 1/2 years living in Yosemite working as a para-educator at a local school, and have done private caretaking off and on for the past seven years. This area of work has brought me immense joy over the years watching the kids/adults I work with grow into themselves, building bonds with them and their families, and helping foster a positive and creative environment. I truly enjoy this line of work!
