I currently work with patients that have ALS I have learned how to use a sit to stand and I'm familiar with a Hoyer lift I took care of a 97-year-old gentleman for a year. Which consisted of Companionship, showering, helping him with his compression socks medication, breakfast, food prep for the week, house cleaning, laundry, changing linens, and all his basic daily needs. Taking him to appointments and anything else that was required. Spending time with the elderly gives me so much joy!
