About Cindy

Nursing major at TCU, I'd describe my personality as silly, serious, and supportive. I like working with kids because they can be rewarding to work with. In addition to an abundance of love, care, and attention, children need someone to understand them. Understanding kids and their needs helps bring smiles to their faces, as well as mine. I started working with kids when I became a Godsister, taking care of the kids from their very young age until they were about 6-7 years old. I later became a childrens ministry volunteer at my church and worked with children in elementary grades. In my spare time, I like to be productive. I'd work on some homework, apply to scholarships, or call my family and friends to see how they're doing. One thing you should know about me is I am very big on being considerate. I always try to put myself in the shoes of whomever I am communicating with. This teaches me to respect others' perspectives and further gain understanding and communication skills.
