My love for working with individuals with special needs began when I was in high school and joined a program called Partners in PE, where I helped adapt and participate in PE activities in a reverse inclusion setting. During this time I also volunteered with Special Olympics and participated in various sports where I fell in love with the joy and uplifting spirit of individuals with all levels of abilities. As I have pursued higher education and gotten a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy, I have continued to experience different settings where I have met many wonderful people and have been able to be a part of the growth and success in their lives. I love learning from individuals who all have a different story to tell and so much to offer in this world.
