Hi! My legal name is Cindi, but I go by Yoni. I love working as a nanny! I have an upbeat, fun, enthusiastic personality, yet I am also nurturing and responsible. I enjoy splashing in mud puddles, creating art and handmade slime, sharing funny stories, dancing or just playing hide and seek with my kids. I love to incorporate the joy of learning (gentle/conscious approach) and make it fun whether it's counting raspberries on our fingertips or bunny hopping putting toys away. My goal has always been that at the end of the day, I leave my kiddos feeling happy because they had an awesome day! I've worked as a photojournalist/photographer, but I've always come back to teaching because I enjoy working with kids and living in the moment! During the pandemic, I started working as a nanny, and realized I loved it. I truly believe kids thrive if they feel happy and validated in a positive dynamic environment that celebrates curiosity and growth. I look forward to meeting you :)

Yoni’s gentle/conscious teaching and nanny approach complemented our style and made us feel like we could relax and focus on working. My son was in safe and careful hands. She is extremely patient, punctual, and dependable. She has always given 110% of her heart and energy to our son. From minute one in the morning to blowing him a kiss at nap time goodbye. Her cheerful energy never depletes! My husband and I often felt the two of us didn’t have that together!! Our son was a bit behind on speaking development when Yoni met him, her persistence in reading multiple books to him a day and making letters, words, shapes, and colors fun brought him up to speed and beyond. In the beginning, she additionally started the communication train with sign language which he could pick up easier, celebrating with a happy dance. He was a little averse to strange textures in foods and other materials as well. Yoni was persistent and patient in engaging in tactile materials paint/ food/ kinetic sand, modeling, and even swimming. Now he enjoys various tactile materials and his favorite is painting. He has almost zero aversion to food/or other odd textures. We were so relieved when his early childhood development specialist let us know how well she thought he had progressed. Yoni was present and adaptable to any suggestions by his therapist and showed a genuine interest in implementing new ideas while respecting his reluctance and anxiety about the unknown. She incorporated values such as respect, kindness, empathy, and mindfulness into his everyday learning. She instilled a huge amount of self-confidence and curiosity due to the strong loving bond she formed with my son. On the homefront, she kept our kitchen/main rooms and son's area clean and tidy and helped do laundry throughout her time with us. We have been incredibly blessed to have had her in all our lives. We know anyone who has her in their lives will experience the same.
