Here's a little about my Senior care-giving experience, In the past I have been able to work as a nurse assistant for a residential home for two years, also I worked at a convalescent home as a CNA for another 4 years. My experience carried on when I got employed as a private in-home caregiver for a family`s elderly parents. I find care-giving to not only spark an interest in me but it is something I also find to be rewarding, I love to help others in need and to be able to be of assistance to those who have lost their abilities over time by nourishing them and giving them companionship all at the same time of helping my patients. I would like to be honest and say that I am not experienced with patients with Dementia but it is something I am willing to train and educate myself with.
