I'd describe my personality as responsible, competent and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because my life path has taken me in this direction and I feel I am well equipped to manage and care for the needs of the elderly. I'm looking for a job that is close to my home in Lincoln and will afford me an opportunity to be of service to a family in need of care for an elderly loved one. I started caring for seniors when my own parent became totally dependent on me for their every day care. She lived in my home for the last five years of her life and I managed her day to day needs. She had dementia and needed assistance with every aspect of daily living. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors as much as possible. I have a 17 years old son and I like to spoil him with home made meals and treats. One thing you should know about me is that I am very good at putting the needs of others before my own. My skills include cooking, ADLs.
