I've been a CNA since 1997, went to nursing school for my RN but changed my course and went into holistic healing. I am a Certified Reiki Practitioner and certified in Sound healing. I have experience with Alzheimer, ALS, PLS, Stroke, Developmental disabilities, nonverbal clients, Hospice, Dementia, sundowners, mental disabilities, and Neurological diseases. I have worked in long care, acute, home care, medical homes and behavior homes, skilled units, outpatient, inpatient hospital for adolescents. I currently work as a private care giver in home settings. I have experience in medication administration, oral and via gtube. I have experience with oral feeding, gtube feeding, care, and equipment setup, ventilator support, Respiratory care, trach care, skin care treatments. Certified in CPR, First Aid, and CPI 1, and have completed classes for sign language. I currently use Reiki healing to assist with pain management, insomnia, and anxiety. Cicely has cared for my 7yo son, who has special needs, for over a year. She manages his glucose levels, gives g tube feedings and medications, prepares meals, and ensures his safety during seizures. Cicely is detail-oriented, professional, communicative, trustworthy, and a fast-learner. She has become like family and is wonderful with my son.
