About Ciara

Hi all! This past year I was a full-time tutor at High School in Park, where I tutored freshman and sophomores in foundational math skills, Algebra, Geometry & PSAT prep. I have also tutored first and fifth graders in reading and math and tutored a neighbor in Calculus to help her ace her final exam in college. I graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Biology in 2023. I love working with students of all ages to make learning as engaging as possible and work to foster a comfortable, empathetic environment where they are comfortable being themselves! Through each tutoring session I aim to not only improve the student's knowledge of a subject, but also their confidence in sharing their thoughts and explaining their answers. I would be happy to tutor any subject up to a high school level, but particularly love to tutor math and science!
