About Ciara

Hi all! I'm Ciara and I have 5 years of experience working with kids of all ages. I was a part-time gymnastics coach for 4 years, working with kids of ages 2-13. I'm CPR trained and always make sure the kids I work with are having fun, while maintaining safety as the priority. This past year, I worked as a full-time freshman Algebra tutor at Sullivan High School in Rogers Park. As a tutor, I always work to find the modality each student learns best in and cater all of my lessons to bridge the gap between what they're learning and real-world applications. I would be happy to work as a part-time tutor in any subject, but particularly love tutoring math and science! I graduated from Northwestern with a BA in Biology in 2023 and would be capable of tutoring elementary math through Calculus 1 and elementary science through any high school-level chemistry or biology courses.
