Hello my name is Chrystal and I'm 40 years old. I have worked with children with special needs since I was 15 years old, but have volunteered for many years before that. I'm currently working for a private school with children (ages 3 to 5). I am CPR/first aide certified. I have been told since I was little that I have a big heart because I care for children with special needs so much and I'm willing to help them out any way possible. I'm the girl who missed out on a lot in high school because I was caring for a 3-year-old with CP because her mom needed a break from the stress. I was able to get this little girl to walk, feed herself and lift her self up holding onto my dog. I also have therapy dog that I had trained since she was old. It take her to the veterans nursing home as much as I can to show off her tricks. She goes on all holidays and hands out cards and gifts. She loves to travel with me and hike and camp.
