About Christy

Serving seniors in their every day lives to help them achieve the best quality of life has meant so much to me. It's great to know what a difference I make in someone's life-personally. I have the opportunity to not only make their day meaningful and dignified, but I am also a friend. I have 5 years of experience working with seniors. I've spent most of this time caring for an elderly gentleman who has suffered a stroke and has Polio. My duties in caring for him included: transferring/lifting, toileting assistance, showering/bathing, dressing and grooming, oral care, meal preparation and assistance, assistance with exercises, taking /monitoring blood pressure, administering medications, communicating any concerns and housekeeping tasks. For several months, I've also worked with an elderly woman who has Parkinson's. My duties in caring for her included: meal preparation and assistance, toileting/transfers, ambulation assistance and housekeeping. I have some experience with Dementia.
