I have over 10 years of child care experience in both a center & nanny environment. I have experience with newborn-teenagers. In college, I completed 1 year of ECE courses before changing my major. I am have taken numerous enrichment courses such as SIDS safety, safe-sleeping, health & nutrition and, many more. I love music, books & crafts. Outings/field trips to the zoo, local parks or just playing outdoors are my favorite when the weather is nice! I love to plan age appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive and emotional development while having fun. I have experience with special needs, multiples and allergies. I am more than happy to assist with basic household chores: sweeping/ loading/unloading dishwasher, children's laundry etc. I have owned just about every pet, so a furry/scaly coworker is a bonus to me I have been out of the nanny world full time since the start of COVID but miss it so much and want nothing more than to be back

We love Maddie. She babysat for us all the time. She handled 5 kids, newborn to 10, like a champ. We were so happy with her care that we invited her to move in with us when we moved to the Eastern Shore. We wanted her to be our live in nanny. While we were sad when she didn't, we understood. She is a bright woman with a good head on her shoulders. She has common sense and I never had to leave a list of what to do or what to feed the kids. She just knew what to do. I never got a bunch of calls about silly stuff. I could be away from my kids and know that everything was handled. I always came back to a clean house too. My kids loved her too. She kept my kids engaged without too much TV (we were okay with the kids watching a movie at night or on a rainy or cold afternoon.). She would even bake cookies or cupcakes with my daughter.
