I'm a Chef, Gardener & Property Manager. I have a Level 2 Background Clearance. I work over 90 hours a week when I have overnight clients. Just over 1 year caregiving with lots of hours of experience within that time. My full time daily client is currently hospitalized and it's not certain he'll be going home so my availability is open and I'm able to commit to a schedule. My client's family hired me to cook for him and he started to put on weight as he regained his appetite incredibly. He made a complete turnaround from his days of having no appetite and never wanting seconds. I like caring for seniors because it teaches me the patience I need with my own mother. Caregiving is incredibly rewarding. It makes one profoundly aware of everything we should be grateful for. I started caring for seniors after I moved here from NYC when the pandemic hit. I thought I could lose my mother and wanted to be near her.
