I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, and encouraging I like caring for seniors because they have lived life and should be treated with respect and integrity I started caring for seniors when I volunteered for hospice prior to COVID. Companioned at an assisted living facility privately in Jericho for an elderly couple - (One had early Alzheimer's, and the other had Lewy Body Dementia - in a wheel chair). Would keep them active and supported in being a part of daily activities. Companioned privately with a woman who had early Alzheimer's. As it progressed, the family had to set her up with full time care in a facility. Returned to work with the woman from the original companionship but only the wife. The woman broke her hip and ended up having to be in a rehab facility. I companioned her till she was able to return to facility in Jericho.
