Hello, I am currently waiting to take the last few classes or so to get my Oregon SPED credential. My most recent position was with a local school district as a transition paraprofessional. The students were taught job and life skills and worked to gain independence with their goals. I taught an adapted cooking class during this position that allowed all learners to participate meaningfully. The previous position I held was a special education teacher for young adults with moderate/severe disabilities . I have worked with children of all ages and a variety of abilities including students with autism, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, multiple disabilities, medically fragile and much more.
