About Christine

For over 25 years, I have cared for children in their home, center-based or as a respite provider ranging in ages from newborn to teenage. For the past 8 years, I have cared for a family of 3 children. My responsibilities varied with the ages of the children. From infancy to middle school the duties on a typical day include providing care, entertainment, guidance, homework direction, and transportation. When the youngest began school, my duties expanded to general household management. One of my reasons for transitioning from caring for children in a center to their home is the freedom I have to tailor the care I provide, and the activities I plan, to the individual' s interests, needs, personality and learning style while respecting the family's style, as opposed to making the needs of a classroom the priority. This job ends in 4 months, and I am excited for my next role with a new family. Currently, I am also available for per diem care around my full time schedule. Christine.
