About Christine

I've been a Registered Nurse since 2006, caring for adult and geriatric patients in the specialties of head and neck cancer, orthopedic surgery, and neurology/neurosurgery. I also have extensive experience in patient safety and quality, particularly in medication safety. My mother has had many health struggles, but most significantly, she has suffered from frontotemporal dementia. Now that she is safely in memory care, I would love to be able to use my knowledge and experience to help other seniors with dementia and their families. Splitting my time between my three busy children and visiting my mother, I would love to make an impact on a part-time basis. While I can assist in personal care, I would also love to work on memory books and tools, recreational and enrichment activities, doctor's appointments and medication management. In addition, I own a horse, a dog, a cat, and a leopard gecko and am available for a wide variety of pet sitting opportunities as well.
