About Christine

Hi! My name is Christine, and I've done a little bit of everything in the child care world. I've raised four of my own children and now we are starting with grandchildren, I've volunteered in children's church, worked in the nursery and ran my own in home daycare when mine were little. I also went back to school and completed work for my Master's degree in special education and have experience working with children with very high needs- I was a 1:1 assistant for two years for a student with a TBI and also taught briefly (loved the kids but not the paperwork). I've also helped tutor/facilitate school work for home school students. Aside from my work experience, I am a big lover of the outdoors, hiking, gardening, I love pretty much any animal and live on a hobby farm. I also enjoy reading- particularly books that are historical fiction or biographical. I share my love of reading with kids and love to foster that! I also enjoy finding ways to incorporate organic, healthy choices.
