For 5-6 months I worked as a pack leader at a dog daycare facility. My duties included monitoring daycare dogs in a pack setting, cleaning the facility, exercising dogs with walks and ball play, caring for/feeding boarding dogs, and performing grooming services such as nail trims, baths and ear cleaning. I worked with a a large variety of breeds and was, at times, responsible for over 20 dogs at a time on my own. Off and on for approximately 2-3 years I did weekly dog walks for a family's 3 dogs. Depending on their needs and schedule, I came 2-3 times a week to walk the dogs for an hour and a half. I have extensive experience with in-home pet care and house-sitting. During the past few years, I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, and animals with special medical needs. Such instances include newborn puppies and a cat with diabetes. I have also done volunteer work at my local pet store and apprenticed in a grooming salon for one summer.
