About Christine

I am a retired public school teacher. I was a CNA in my 20s. I was also a caregiver to my mother during her battle with Alzheimer's. I work with a lot of seniors through my business and am getting older myself, so I am a good companion because I can relate to folks in a variety of situations. I am in excellent health and quite agile for different tasks but prefer to avoid personal care tasks. I'd describe my personality as friendly, compassionate, patient. I like caring for seniors because I am a young Baby Boomer myself, so I have a lot in common with the older generation. I'm looking for a job that allows me flexibility to provide respite for families or full time caregivers. I started caring for seniors when I was 17. I worked in a nursing home near Seattle, WA. In my spare time, I like to hike, walk, work around the house, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am very easygoing. My skills include technology, medication management, preparing meals.
