About Christine

I would be honored to work with you and your loved one. I am the former Hospice Volunteer Coordinator/Community Liaison for a major area hospital. I am currently a part-time Direct Support Professional working with young adults living with disabilities. I am the daughter and primary caregiver of a parent (mother) who succumbed to Alzheimer's at 70. I am stepmother to a 24-year-old young man living with Autism. I believe in meeting everyone where they are and treating all with dignity and respect. I know firsthand, what it's like when your parent is losing their ability to be as independent as they once were and the heartbreaking struggles you face. I can "hold their hand" through their transitions with patience, love and understanding. I can assist with ADL's without making them feel dependent through the friendship and trust we will build. Simply put, I understand how IMPORTANT they are to YOU because my parents were to ME! Impeccable references and background check available.
