I worked as a para educator in New York. I am trained in ABA, CPR, First Aide, and CPI. I have had children from 5 - 14 years of age, some very low functioning and some high. I have done community outings with these children. One child in particular was non verbal. I taught him to use the computer after many months he was typing faster than me. Because of that, he was given a device where he could type what he wanted and the machine spoke for him. He is my pride and joy and when ever I am in NY I visit him. Since moving to Austin I have done Nanny jobs as well as babysitting. I love working with children, I raised 4 of my own the last 2 being twins, so I am very good at multitasking and keeping a child entertained. I also love to cook so I consider that a plus if you need meals prepared.. Do not let my age fool you I am very athletic and can keep up with anyone half my age.
