My experience has been personal. I cared for my mother with Alzheimer's Full Time for the last 5 years. It was a joy to be the one chosen. I am very reliable, friendly & have a great sense of humor. Alzheimer's disease is complicated and can be extremely difficult on family members trying to adjust. My mindset from the beginning was this is not the patients fault. Caring for her drove out the patience and creativeness of my skills more so than ever! I learned through this experience of caring for her has been the most rewarding experience and a complete turn around from my previous career, which was in Sales, mostly as a Catering/Wedding consultant.
