About Christine

I have worked in grade levels ranging from K-12. Currently, I am a resource teacher at a private school providing tier two and three interventions in the areas of reading and math. Over the past few years, I has successfully developed and implemented intensive intervention programs for K-12 schools. As a trained and certified Level 1 Wilson Reading System instructor, I have been able to implement systematic and explicit instruction to students within the public and private school. I am dual certified and Highly Qualified in Special Education as well as Elementary Education. I have experience working at the elementary, middle school and high school level with students who have learning disabilities and are emotionally and behaviorally challenged. These experiences have enriched my knowledge of education and diversity and enhanced my ability to confidently develop and implement research based literacy intervention programs that differentiate instruction based on student need. I am passionate about the importance of providing daily, systematic instruction for students directly related to their deficiencies.
