As a mother of grown children, a former preschool and Sunday school teacher, and previous nanny and sitter to many wonderful families, I bring a great deal of experience to the table. I consider it an honor to serve families and help care for the most precious parts of their lives!

We had Christina over a handful of times to care for our 10 month old. The last (and final time) was January 15, 2024. Christina did a good job playing and feeding the baby, and taking care of some cleaning responsibilities around the house related to the baby. On Christina's final day here, we agreed that she would work until 5pm. Unfortunately there was a miscommunication with my wife and I about who would relieve Christina. My wife called Christina at 5pm after Christina texted us and my wife told Christina she was leaving work and apologized. Christina was very upset and told her we would need to compensate her for the additional time. My wife arrived home 15 minutes later at 515 and pulled into the driveway only to see Christina walk by the car without Christina making eye contact. My wife got out of the car, apologized, and said it wouldn't happen again all while Christina continued walking to her car. Christina did not respond and nor did she look at my wife. My wife went into the house and found the baby in her crib in her sleep sack, when according to Christina, she woke up at 458. The baby was in tears. We considered this unacceptable and as a result, I called Christina that night and left a VM telling her we would not be using her again for babysitting. One other concern we wanted to flag about Christina is that she does not want any parents around while she was taking care of our child. There were two incidents in particular where she explicitly (and aggressively) blamed me for causing the baby to cry. Christina said that in her experience seeing or hearing Mom or Dad would naturally cause a child to cry. We have not experienced this with our other caretakers we utilize for our child.
