Christina is a top-notch caregiver because she is observant, she works very hard, and she cares deeply about her clients. When she cared for my father, she was always watching to see how he reacted, what he enjoyed, and what he might need that he wasn't asking for, or that he may not have been aware of himself. She observed all the changes that accompanied his decline and made adjustments to them, which helped my father adjust to his more diminished capacity. This was no easy task, because at the beginning he wanted to continue to care for himself in ways that he was no longer capable of doing. With extreme patience, Christina consistently engaged with my father to see what might work better and made him feel part of his own care. My father trusted her implicitly and so did we. In addition, she made excellent food and kept the house tidy. She was a wonderful communicator with the family. She has a big heart. You will be lucky to be able to hire Christina.
