Hi! I've been a caregiver most of my life. I've raised 4 now adult children, and have worked in early childhood education in New York for 20 years. I have experience in all age groups as well as with special needs children. I am trained in Responsive Classroom, and I assisted the school nurse for 20 years. I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic and fun. I'm looking for a job that will assist a family that needs it! When I was a young mom with 4 children, I had no help. I get it! I started working with children ages 3-5 in 2004 in New York. In my spare time, I like to knit, make candles, do shell art, read, cook, walk, go to the beach, organize my home, and listen to music. My skills include homework assistance, employing playtime, and teaching a child to be independent based on their age. I'm a firm believer of basic life skills.
