This is the background check we require for all caregivers.
Experience: 10 yrs
Fun, energetic, patient, compassionate nanny with 14 years of experience caring for and educating children, including in home nannying for 7 years. Prior to this, I worked in a daycare facility for 2 years primarily in the infant/toddler room, but I have worked with children of all ages. I have experience with multiple children, children of similar ages, and children of different ages. I've cared for twins, children with special needs and up to 4 children independently. I would consider myself an active nanny, I enjoy being outside (nature walks, etc), doing arts and crafts (even if it makes a mess!), and cooking/baking! Inviting children to assist with tasks gives them a form of independence and joy! I am passionate about childcare and I am proud to go to work doing something every day that brings happiness to the children I care for and the families who entrust their development to me. I'm excited for the opportunity to become a part of your family, look forward to hearing from you!

Christina worked as our full time live out nanny for almost two years for my then 3 month old son and 1 year old niece. I got to know Christina extremely well during this time and have kept in touch with her since she has left. Christina was an excellent nanny and what I would call a “unicorn nanny”. As a person, she is extremely responsible, organized, reliable and truthful. Her initial quality of honesty was apparent from our first interactions. She was quick to reply to our job posting and was transparent in her abilities and also her needs. With regard to her ability to work with children, she was stellar. She had sincere love for our children and cared for them like family. She is extremely patient and loving and never did i have concerns for the children while they were in her care. My son has a severe allergy to all dairy, peanut and egg products. As one can imagine, there are very few people i trust to feed my son, as all food given to him requires careful label checking. Christina mastered this skill immediately and not only was always careful to check his food, she was able to successfully separate him from my niece while she ate any dairy containing foods, and made sure she always washed well afterwards to prevent any contamination. Christina even adopted a milk and egg free diet before coming and during her time in our home, which I think shows the level of care that she provided for my son. As she was with him through new food introductions, he had several episodes of hives with new foods and her ability to manage those scenarios was excellent and provided a tremendous amount of relief for me as a worried mother back at work. Christina balanced caring for two young children very well. She is energetic, patient and always had plans to keep the kids busy without turning on TV or iPads. During the children’s naps, she would always keep herself busy (her request, not mine) with organizing or cleaning our home. I have nothing but the highest recommendation for Christina as a nanny and think she also possesses skills to be a stellar house manager.
