My first experience taking care of the elderly was when my grandmother entered hospice, I was 12. For the summer I was her main caregiver and from that I found out that I really enjoyed the experience. Since then I've gone on to work with others and I even wanted to work with elderly people for a long time before I settled on astrophysics.
