About Christina

Hello :) I am Christina, a 25-year-old astrophysics student at UNM. I have worked with autistic children as a RBT doing ABA therapy for 6 years. If you've never heard of that, it basically means I go to people's homes to do "play therapy" with children to increase wanted behaviors and decrease unwanted behaviors. It can be really fun but also very challenging at times but watching the kids grow makes it worth it. I have also helped elementary aged students with their studies as a tutor. Before I started working with kids, I took care of elderly people and have done that off and on since I was 12! First person I took care of was my grandmother when she was in hospice care. Since then I've gone on to work with others and I even wanted to work with elderly people for a long time before I settled on astrophysics. I've got some great stories from working with kids and elders that I can't wait to share with you!
