My sister and her son both have learning disabilities. They just can't seem to recall what they've learned after learning it like most people and it's less likely they ever will be capable of that. My nephew has adhd , a speech deficiency and his learning disability which I've recently discovered requires more accommodations than I was aware of. He definitely does require plenty of patience to handle but he's now 11 and I've done pretty good with him so far.
