I'd describe my personality as genuine, honest and kind. I like caring for seniors because it is so fulfilling to support a group of individuals who are typically ignored. They deserve compassion and empathy. Which I enjoy giving by providing companionship and listening ears. I'm looking for a job that is enjoyable and I can provide value. I will not tolerate disrespect. I started caring for seniors when I became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2015. I specialized in helping 55+ in their health journey and in home visits. I have helped seniors with dementia, wheelchair chair bound, hearing impaired and bed ridden. This greatly entailed companionship whether it was a lot of talking, to no talking at all. I loved being told their best part of their day was my visit. In my spare time, I like to dance and teach fitness classes including senior aerobics. I plan to complete my Home Health Aide Certification shortly. My skills include patience, empathy and efficiency to follow requests.
