About Christina

Hi! My name is Christina and I am a passionate educator looking for opportunities to support your young learners with their education and help build confidence in their skills and abilities. I am a recent graduate of SCSU where I earned my B. S. in Early Childhood Education, and am currently a full-time 1st grade Teacher Assistant in the New Haven school district as I await my CT Teacher Certification in grades PK-3. I am knowledgeable in research-based instructional techniques, and skilled in creating positive, safe learning environments where children form growth-mindsets as well as a love for learning. With many years of experience working with children inside and out of schools, I am committed to providing relevant, engaging, and individualized instruction to help students reach their academic goals.
