About Christie

As a friendly & approachable childcare provider & mother of 5 ranging in ages 2 -24 with over 3 decades of experience, I'm passionate about supporting families & making a positive impact on children's lives. My positive experiences in previous babysitting roles & my experience as a mother inspired me to pursue a career in caregiving. I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method to discuss their child's day & address any issues that may arise. I firmly believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, ensuring a consistent & respectful environment for the children in my care. When it's time to play, I enjoy engaging children in board games, puzzles & educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for up to 4 children of all ages, from infants to teens. I also have 2 teen daughters who are interested in childcare & are available to accompany me if the need arises for larger families.
