My name is Christian from Panorama City a male caregiver with an extensive background in caregiving for 11 years. I always use 40% of my brain and 60% of my heart in this job because by using your heart on top of it then everything will be easy and smooth. My golden rule will be "NO FALL". I am well experienced with medication management, ADLs. I love to cook, I am a jolly and kind person and a good companion. A bachelor of science in physical therapy in the philippines! Confident with a heart! And I thank you! Can work anywhere most specially if live in / 24hr care.

We were blessed to have Christian care for my father in the last year of his life. Besides being an amazing caregiver, Christian has a great personality and is really funny. He could make both my mom and dad smile and laugh, which was tough to do sometimes. My parents resisted having a live-in caregiver for a long time, and we were so lucky to find someone as loving kind, trustworthy, talented and knowledgeable as Christian. A little about my father’s medical condition: My father had a stroke and had limited mobility that became more limited over time; he had kidney failure and needed home hemodialysis 4 days a week; he had a narrow esophagus could only eat blended foods; aspiration was always a risk. Christan always went above and beyond. He adapted to my dad’s deteriorating condition. It is hard to list all of the things that he did for dad: helped him exercise (Christian studied physical therapy), helped with showering, dressing, brushing teeth, and combing his hair. He always tried to make him look and feel dignified. He would cook the meals with options (as dad was picky), blend them according to the hospital’s recommendation, and would feed dad when dad couldn’t do it himself. He would make sure that dad had enough water and tea (his favorite) make just the way he liked, with enough thickener to prevent aspiration. That is besides things that he would do around the house like do his laundry, change the bed linens and mop the floors. He worked very well with my mom who had the tendency to make things difficult. On dialysis days, Christian would help by sanitizing and setting up the dialysis supplies as trained and, after dialysis, would clean the dialysis supplies and sanitize again. He would help my dad in and out of the dialysis chair and would always be around if we needed his help during the sessions. Christian also worked really well with our other caretaker, dad’s doctors, his nurses, and his physical therapists. I felt like we all worked together as a good team and Christian was a big part of that team. Christian did so much for us. It is hard to explain, and even harder to express how much gratitude we have for him. I wholeheartedly recommend Christian as a caretaker and companion.
