Hi! I am currently an ELI that helps kindergarten and first grade readers learn how to read and have better reading fluency! I can also help with other subjects as well and other ages. Although I have my Bachelors in Agriculture I also have an associates in science and attended nursing school. A few years ago I taught 7th grade science! And was my schools cheerleading coach! I operate based off of short burst learning which is also how the company I work for as well operates. There's lots of science that backs it up too. Basically your child will retain more information without getting burnt out and frustrated. I like to make our learning environment fun with real life examples and with what your child enjoys while also being direct and straight to the point. I will try different methods with your child to learn what fits them better. For example are they hands on learners? Visual learners? Do they do best when hearing it over and over? Etc.
