About Christiane

I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth, which is why I've decided to become a nanny while I go to school part time. I'm a creative, friendly, and pro-learning individual who seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of the kids I care for. I'm comfortable caring for preferably one child at a time. I have past unpaid experience caring for kids from ages 3-10 but am open all ages. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and find that children thrive in structured and positive environments. I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games with children. Besides English, I also speak Amharic as my native language and can read and write a little Arabic as I grew up in the UAE. In addition to childcare, I can assist with cooking, some housekeeping, bed time rituals, travel, and various supervised activities. Looking forward to meeting you and your kid :)
