About Christa

I started babysitting when I was 11, raised two boys, received an associates degree in child development, had my own in home daycare, and have worked in children's centers as staff and as an assistant director. Babies and toddlers are wonderful and I love helping them explore and grow. The world is a big place and there is so much to see, touch and investigate. I enjoy assisting pre-schoolers as they discover and navigate through emotions, interacting with others and learn about letters, numbers, colors, etc. Most children love to be read to almost as much as I love reading to them. I want to make parents lives a little easier when they need to attend a family event, spend the day with older children, or enjoy a couple's night out by offering worry-free babysitting. I am reliable, can stay late, and I have the patience for fussy babies, over-tired toddlers and 3s, 4s and 5s trying to be independent.
