I have been a caregiver for about 17 years and worked in care facilities (nursing homes and hospitals), as well as home care settings. I would like to use my skills and experience to provide care for individuals with special needs and the elderly. I would provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, feeding, companionship, transportation, ambulation, running errands and medication management among other services. I have experience with medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, hospital beds, power chairs, ventilators, suctioning machines, cough assist machines, Duopa pumps, tube-feeding pumps among others.
