This past year I was a preschool teacher with 2-year-olds which included potty training! and before that I worked in a infant care center before I moved to phoenix. I have great references and a lot of experience for my age. I have been working with kids babysitting and nannying all through high school. I have open availability, CPR, fingerprint card and vaccinated. I have taken a lot of early childhood classes as well and have my AA in drug and alcohol counseling. We were interested in hiring Chloe to start with us regularly but had a very slow start with her so everything was shifted back weeks due to this. Set up a call mid-October and then finally had a meet and greet two weeks later (when I checked back in after she cancelled our in-person meeting and did not follow up). Started her on a trial basis for a few shifts and then when I messaged her today to cancel one of the shifts this week, she decided not to pursue working with us since she wanted a set schedule. We discussed having a set schedule once we got past a few trial visits but can't set a hard schedule until we feel comfortable with her being alone with our son. It was very unprofessional to cancel during a trial the day before a shift is scheduled and put families in a bind like this.
