As a child, I mostly played with the kids my age, but as I got older, helping my mom care for the kids was my unofficial job. In high school I did homework with a baby on my lap, spent many summer rainy days watching Disney movies, and read "Skippy John Jones" enough times I can recite it in my sleep.
