I love working with kids. You never know what you're going to be doing and every day is a fresh start. From infants to teens I think every kid deserves fairness and compassion in all situations. I like caring for people with special needs because you never know what to expect. There is no monotony of day to day tasks because you're always changing and moving. I started caring for people with special needs when my friend in the Junior Service League needed help with her 8-year-old son. He had cerebral palsy and developmental delays. We would sit and read for hours, play games, and watch TV during his fluid infusions after his kidney transplant. In my spare time, I like to crochet, sew, and do all kids of crafts. I also like playing cards with my friends and painting!
