I have watched both cats and dogs and I'm very comfortable around them. I have house-sitted for animals for extended periods of times (2+ weeks) and shorter times (a couple days), and for households with multiple pets. I strictly follow feeding schedules, and if any oral medication has to be given to animals, I'm comfortable doing that as well.
