About Chicquita

I'd describe my personality as family oriented, loyal, and outgoing. I'm looking for a job that allows me to assist and support young children in feeling secure in their reading skills. Reading is fundamental to their mastery of school work. Caring for children has always been who I am and what I do. I enjoy supporting children in their emotional and social development, by encouraging them to understand themselves and others and by promoting positive self concepts. I quickly learned that I had a passion and talent to work with children in their social and educational development. In my spare time, I like to visit with my grandchildren, read books, and discover new thrift stores. One thing you should know about me is that your child's wellbeing will always be my first priority while working with your family.
