In 2016, I moved to Charlotte County from Fort Myers where I had spent the last 6 years, going to school and teaching. I am a certified special education teacher, and spent the last three years working in classrooms with students with multiple complex special needs and medical needs. My class included several students with Autism, seizure disorders, and significant cognitive disabilities (many of whom had complex communication needs) and daily life skills were always a part of our classroom routine. In 2015, I was hired by the newest FL Department of Education Multidisciplinary Center, so I work from home half of the time, and the other half of my time is spent in with students with disabilities in schools in rural areas. I am qualified to be a respite caregiver and would love to care for any child/adult with special needs.

After talking to Cheyney & setting up several dates to watch our daughter while on vacation she never answered any communication the week before we were coming. I paid $45 for a back ground check too. I thought she was going to be great but ended up unreliable & put us in an awkward situation with plans & no sitter. Luckily we found someone else who was wonderful.
