About Cheyney

In 2013, I graduated with a degree in Special Education and began teaching right away. I obtained a masters degree in behavior analysis in 2021 and currently, I work for a grant funded project providing services to students with disabilities in rural areas. My experience working with the special needs population is not just now beginning however. It was 18 years ago, that I found a passion for this field and have chased opportunities to work with folks of varying exceptionalities for a good portion of my life. I have experience working with ASD, Down syndrome, Spina Bifida, Cerebral palsy, Angelman's syndrome, Fragile X, FTT, a variety of sensory disorders, and multiple mental illnesses as well. Of course, I'm not experienced in everything, but I am more than willing to learn anything and everything.
